From Principal Rumple: iReady, food drive, and more

Happy Holidays from our team here at Justice Intermediate School to our families! As we wrap up the first semester, we paused for a few moments in the school to revisit our expectations in the building and refocus on our purpose for school. We want to ensure all students are coming to school each day ready to learn. We are GIANTS, and we are working hard to prepare our students to make a GIANT impact on the world around them.

Your students have been working hard in the classroom to grow their skills and their knowledge, and we are excited for our next round of i-Ready, which begins Dec. 4, to see just how much they’ve grown. Please encourage your students to try their best on the i-Ready assessment so that we know exactly how to
help them grow.

Student Council has organized holiday spirit events at Justice, with a canned food drive Dec. 11 to 15 and dress up days every Friday and on the last three days of school before winter break.

The food drive will be a competition between 5th grade and 6th grade.

Each dress up day offers either a costume dress up or a color of the day to help ensure that all students can participate.

Dress-up days are as follows.
  • Friday 12/1: Merry Grinchmas / green
  • Friday 12/8: Blue Christmas / blue
  • Friday 12/15: Elf Day / green and yellow
  • Monday 12/18: Merry and Bright (fancy outfits and/or bright colors)
  • Tuesday 12/19: Santa Day / red
  • Wednesday 12/20: Holiday pajama day / white)
This is our time to SOAR to new heights, and we continue to dedicate our time and energy to this task. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.
